UAB’s International Direct Transfer (IDT) program is designed for international undergraduate transfer students who meet direct entry English requirements and would also benefit from additional academic support during their first semester at UAB. IDT provides the same support that all first-year undergraduate students receive, as well as additional cross-cultural support that helps international first-year students succeed at a US university.
