International Year One in Pre-Nursing

International Year One in Pre-Nursing will prepare you to enter your next semester of a bachelor's degree program at The University of Alabama at Birmingham. After successfully completing the Pathway program, you are guaranteed to enter your next semester of study. This transition to university from an INTO program is called progression.

Notes: Students are pre-nursing majors while in the Pathway program and their second year of study. They matriculate to nursing majors assuming the above requirements are met by the end of Year 2.

Students are guaranteed progression to an undergraduate degree program through a curriculum consisting of credit-earning programs.
Students will benefit from fully integrated classes with both domestic and other international students on campus while learning from highly trained university instructors and tutors.

High school diploma; Minimum 2.0 GPA or 55% Gaokao score in each province.
